Mounting your Extractor
This extractor is designed to be installed within a bridging
unit and is not suitable for direct wall mounting. To install
the product, proceed as follows: -
1. Prepare the bridging unit by installing a shelf inside the
unit 135mm above the base of the unit. This shelf must
have a venting hole cut out to allow the extracted air to be
exhausted. This venting hole should be cut according to the
dimensions shown in figure 6.
2. The extractor is intended to be mounted flush with the
decor door fitted to the bridging unit. To achieve this,
adjust the depth of the cutout by an amount equal to the
difference between 25mm and the thickness of the decor
door. For example, a decor door 18mm thick would require a
cutout of 250 + (25-18) = 265 mm.
3. Remove the grease filters as described on page 4,
then mount the extractor to the bridging unit using six
appropriate wood screws (not supplied) in the locations
shown in figure 6.
4. You can choose to use this extractor in either extraction
or recirculation mode. The options for this are shown in
figure 7.
